Many don’t realize that there’s a valuable asset out there that’s the “killer” of your business as it’s growing. Additionally, if you don’t realize this “killer” while your business is young you’ll never have the visualization to grasp your business.
While you’re growing your new business, you’ll be spending many, many hours doing numerous things that eventually can be harmful to how successful you and your business can become. Many “starters” fall into this trap. You must realise that all of the money and all of the purchased leads can stream into your business in great quantity with little effort once you’ve learned how to promote your business the correct way.

Your first inclination will be to be the “manager” and not the “marketer”, don’t let this happen. YOUR new business IS your ability to bring more prospects into your business; support must become less important to production. You MUST never stop marketing. Once you become the “manager’ you’ll start getting those little “time wasters” who are constantly after YOUR time. You’ll then be spending more time on the phone and that’s nothing but handholding, or babysitting.

If that team member can’t understand, when and where your company’s conference calls are, after you’ve told them once or twice, or maybe they’re just “chatters” wasting your TIME. Don’t become a hand holder/babysitter. Time is money.

Always focus on your marketing/promoting first and your team support second. If you feel you should make time for the support, do it. Do it on a defined period and stick to it. If one of your “chatters” calls outside of that period, in a polite way, remind them of your phone hours and tell them to call back during the appointed period.
